A problem caused by AI's slop flood: I used to go on Fiverr to get small art jobs or whatever done, since my gamedev budget is $0 - Hobby. Now I'm afraid to, because I assume someone will just dump it through the slop generator and I'll be paying for worthless "work".
On the plus side, I know a few awesome artists now on Fedi who do commissions. Which is probably much better over-all.

Working with someone on #Fiverr. Sent her the work to be done. Heard nothing. Logged into today after three days as the deadline is looming to see she had put up an offer three days ago which I missed … What a terrible platform. It notifies me of every message she sends, but stays silent when she actually puts up a quote for me to accept! Isn’t that an important part of the deal? Now we are late. Thanks, Fiverr. Who the heck designs these sites?! (No, there were no notifications in the trash.)
