Since the last time I posted about it, I've played one "fine but shallow" one-shot, wrapped a 4-session game that I loved, and am about to wrap another few-shot I adore

A bit of advice got about playing Firebrands (+hacks) is to treat it like a middle chapter or a random episode in a long series. Don't make it the pilot and don't try to solve the conflict; assume the characters *already* have complicated relationships

I'm still trying to get a handle on all of it, but it helped my feeling that we need to come to a satisfying conclusion on the story rather than just a glimpse into it
