What little rituals do you have for getting in character for playing a ttrgp?
I'm not much of an "actor," but, I try to dress in the colors I associate with my character, a little like a closet cosplay. I just found myself thinking, "which of my earrings would this character wear?"

A bit of advice got about playing Firebrands (+hacks) is to treat it like a middle chapter or a random episode in a long series. Don't make it the pilot and don't try to solve the conflict; assume the characters *already* have complicated relationships
I'm still trying to get a handle on all of it, but it helped my feeling that we need to come to a satisfying conclusion on the story rather than just a glimpse into it

Speaking of PbtA, anyone have suggestions for how to handle investigation?
One of my players' characters frequently finds out information by doing extensive research. This comes up often enough that I feel like it should have a move, but I haven't found a good way to frame it
