Nelle giornate più cupe il genere RPG è un porto sicuro, ma a volte arriva comunque una "tempesta emotiva" e magari paradossalmente lo fa per la sua assenza motrice: "il vento si è fermato", catastrofe in arrivo, preoccupazione per l'incolumità di un genitore e una colonna sonora che ha reso l'ansia uno spartito. Yesterday at #MarathonGaming we continued our journey in #ChocoboDungeon2. Like many #RougeLikes the RNG gifeth and taketh away.
We made some solid progress though which is nice.
I’ve also been on a bit of a #FinalFantasy5 kick too. It was a reason to use the iPad during our trip. It mostly was from watching single job challenge videos.Today I also cleaned and set up our new coffee maker. Just had a bit of a swim.

Reduced my manga backlog quite a bit this week!
Next week, I will focus on finishing Final Fantasy V. I'm trying to get the last tablet and ultimate weapons and after that, it's final dungeon(s)-time!

Final Fantasy V is one of those games that sometimes decides it's gonne push you to your limits.
I'm her for that.

#FinalFantasy5 is simply the best game of the series. I find its gameplay most balanced between grindy and casual, while featuring individual strategy. It also balances lightweight good vs evil and deep, parablistic storytelling (it is not at all like 3!) while being emotionally touching. The music is simply a blaze and the humour of the English localization rather adds to the authentic feeling than spoiling the mood.
I love this game. It is the opposite of everything I dislike about FF4.
So take your confusing eso Sephiroth plots and arbitrary post X sexploitation because I am good, thanks :) -
