Fantasy accountancy this morning on the radio from a reform party councillor.
Thinks there's huge savings if councils stopped spending on net zero and diversity.
Probably a former Tory. "Forgets" that we've had some 2 decades of relentless cuts to local government. Doesn't understand there's an Equality Act (2010) that public bodies have to comply with.
And wouldn't it be nice if they did spend a lot on preventing and responding to carbon pollution?

@samhainnight #DeSantis anyway has no choice under the US #Constitution (but who knows how the six #Falangists on #SCOTUS would rule). More importantly, he only said this after it was clear #Trump would surrender voluntarily. DeSantis‘s statement only makes it more certain the sack of fermenting #dung will turn himself in - otherwise he‘d appear weak and in DeSantis‘s debt. Like Trump, DeSantis is a bully but, even more importantly, a coward.
