Ich hab nun schon mehrfach gelesen, das Schiffe nun um Kap Hoorn fahren müssen, weil die Straße von Hormus gesperrt ist.

Irgendwer hat da was von einer KI ungeprüft übernommen und jetzt schreiben alle davon ab.

1. Die Straße von Hormus ist der einzige Seeweg aus dem persischen Golf, es gibt keine Ausweichmöglichkeit.

2. Wurde wohl die Straße von Hormus mit den Suezkanal verwechselt. Aber da wäre die Ausweichroute das Kap der guten Hoffnung und nicht Kap Hoorn

I had an extremely depressing conversation with a friend yesterday who is convinced the shot gun approach LLMs that are is being marketed as "AI" will destroy creative industries entirely because most people just won't pay for genuine art or music anymore. I think there will be a backlash to this, but he's claims people aren't like that and will just refuse to pay real artists (or other creatives, including coders) anymore. :cry:

the good thing with "fake ai" is that it is sometimes so stupid that it motivates you to work harder.

I was using the GPT-4o mini regarding I dunno both what it "had" on Qubes OS and modifying Template VMs...the answers it gave were utterly stupid and when I(with some temper issues) pointed it out in a nice and clear way(still with temper issues) it gave the same stupid answers.

It motivated me to find the solution(which I did)...then...wait for part 2!...
