"HP Laptop for 123 MKD" scam campaign stealing Personal and Card data
Facebook users are being targeted by a scam impersonating legitimate tech retailer Setec. Victims are lured with offers of HP laptops for only $2, then directed through a sequence of fake lottery games and redirects designed to harvest personal information and credit card details for immediate unauthorized charges and future criminal activities.
**First - never trust content on Social Media. Also, if it's too good to be true, it's ALWAYS a scam. If you think there is some merit to the message, verify directly through official company websites - never through links or numbers in the promotion you got served.**

Scam alert.
I saw this on Facebook just now. Thought something was not right about it. Clicked through to get a better idea of what that might be.
The website they made is a click-scam that will try to download malware. Dressed up as a front end to clinical trials.
Facebook is happy to allow these scams to run because they get paid each time someone clicks. They don't care. It should be illegal what Facebook is doing. I hate everything about that website.
