This project turns a laptop keyboard into a USB keyboard for other devices. It is handy when setting up a Raspberry Pi if you cannot find a spare keyboard or are simply too lazy to get one.
Made by Hanndoddi during Fab Futures, which teaches 21st century vocational skills. It is a part of The Academany, the fab lab network's distributed hands-on educational program.

The first sparks we produced with a self-sourced V3 power core (for Electrical Discharge Machining EDM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrical_discharge_machining). In Dutch, the name is: Vonkverspanen :-) https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vonkverspanen

Globale #FabLab-Community gestaltet die Zukunft
Die #FAB26 in Boston brachte rund 1.200 Teilnehmende aus über 50 Ländern zusammen. Fab City Hamburg war durch Aufsichtsrat Dr. Jürgen Glaser (Süderelbe AG) vertreten.
Zum 25-jährigen Bestehen des Netzwerks standen digitale Fertigung, Künstliche Intelligenz, nachhaltige Produktion und regionale Wertschöpfung im Mittelpunkt.

Morning playing with 2 trumpet players in the Fablab @waag Soldering a The PiezoBarrel P9 pickup to a mouthpiece https://piezobarrel.com/ PiezoBarrel pickups are designed to be attached to wind and brass instruments to pick up the relatively high pressure standing wave inside the instrument near the mouthpiece end. It converts sound waves into electrical signals, making it possible to amplify the sound of the instrument or process it with effects.

At the #fab26 event in Bottrop, we worked on the Powercore https://rackrobo.io/products/powercore-v3 (EDM / Electrical Discharge Machining, ). Everything is open-source and documented, so we could start from scratch. Sourced at JLCPCB, digikey. At @waag, we started milling on a block of aluminum. We learned a lot! (Documentation to follow!). We documented our trial and errors. We are not there yet! And in need for 48V/9A!
