What’s the Best Way to Explore a New City? Throw Away the List. 🏙️
What’s the best way to explore a new city?
Whenever I visit a new city, I try not to plan every minute.
I like leaving some room to just wander.
Forget the “Top 10 places to visit” list.
Walk. Get a little lost. Take the road that looks less interesting. That’s often where the real city is.
Eat somewhere local. Talk to someone. Wake up early and see the city before it gets busy.
For me, exploring a city isn’t about checking places off a list.
It’s about slowing down enough to actually experience it.
You don’t explore a city by covering it.
You explore it by letting it surprise you.
Now I want to know yours:
When you arrive in a new city, what’s the ONE thing you always do first?
