These days, it feels like we can only look at bananas and be satisfied. Maybe because they are as yellow as gold, their price has gone sky-high.
In Nepal, bananas now feel expensive even compared to countries like Korea, Japan, and Canada.
A Korean friend once told me:
“When we were young, we could only look at bananas, and anyone who could afford them seemed rich.”
