  1. DACA recipients are considered "lawfully present" but are not granted "legal status." This distinction means they have temporary protection, but no direct path to a Green Card or citizenship unless they find an entirely separate legal pathway. This high-profile case shows how precarious that protection is.

  2. I was only able to bear about the first 30 minutes of #FoxnewsSunday this morning.

They have decided to dedicate the entire hour to demonizing & #fearmongering #immigrants, and attack #Biden's #ExecutiveAction to let #Undocumented Immigrants who have lived in the U.S. for 10 or more years w/o committing a crime remain with their U.S. citizen spouses until they obtain legal status.

  4. #LeonardMaltin declared 1973’s #ExecutiveAction a "bomb" in his Movie Guide, calling it an "excruciatingly dull thriller [that] promised to clear the air about JFK's assassination but was more successful at clearing theaters".

Personally I think it's better than that, if nothing great. Got to see it in 35m several years ago as part of a ‘70s conspiracy thriller series.

  5. Yeah, originally the #Segal character survived and showed up again at the end of the movie in earlier drafts of the script for #ExecutiveAction but his behaviour on-set (this article below being a perfect example) made them scrap that and leave it as if he died in mid air.

'I had a bad run-in with him. We did a movie together. It was Executive Decision. He’s kind of a horrible human'
