It's been a really difficult journey, and has tested my inner strength. So many wobbly bits. Not the photography though, that has never been easier. This village sits around 3000m high in the Annapurna Ranges, on the edge of the Mustang. The women in this photo are young, and they are not from here. They were hired to process manure. They shovel it into bags then haul it into the fields below the village.

They originate from Dolpo, one of the poorest regions of Nepal. It takes three days on buses to reach this part of the Annapurnas from where they live.
