A typical EV has a lot more #electronic components than a mechanical car? The battery of an #EV is not a piece of metal. It consists of many individual #battery cells, each of which contains a mixture of many lithium oxide compounds, including carcinogen Li-Co oxides, Li-Fe oxides, Li-Mn oxides, ... And it must be controlled electronically by BMS and BTMS both of which are like mini computers. An EV produces hundreds of pounds of #Ewastes that will almost never be recycled. #climatechange

@Lats @SuperMoosie Less than 30% of the highly #toxic and #carcinogenic #Ewastes are recycled. Most of the ewastes will be dumping to third world countries or end up in landfills polluting underground water, the ocean, and the entire food chain of all life forms. The most toxic and carcinogenic ingredients will NEVER be recycled.
