56% of citizens support EU enlargement, a new Eurobarometer poll shows.
The European Union's enlargement policy has gained political momentum since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to a Eurobarometer poll, the most supportive Member States are Sweden (79%), Denmark (75%) and Lithuania (74%).
Conversely, Austria (45%), the Czech Republic (43%) and France (43%) are the least receptive.

The majority of European citizens now get their political news not via home grown channels but filtered and targeted by foreign adtech conglomerates. With all the implications of this for democracy, sovereignty and culture.
