I’m worried about the apparent return to #fascism in parts of #Germany. The country already way too supportive of the #Israel genocide; and now, the far-right #AFD appears headed for success in regional elections. Why are highly developed countries, like the USA and Germany tilting heavily to the right? I understand that neo-liberalism has failed to impress, failed to deliver on its promises - and thus, given rise to anti-immigrant populism. But Fascism is not the answer. And yes, I grant that my own country, the USA, is in the midst of an authoritarian, #fascist takeover - but I have faith and hope that the upcoming mid-term #elections will moderate that trend at the very least, and turn it around at best.
