  2. In search for good #EU news, I figured I'd try signing up to #EUobserver (I also have #euractiv and used to have #politico).

    The very first email I get is:
    "After more than 25 years of being a leading independent voice in Brussels journalism, we are now joining the journalist-owned central European publishing house Denník N [...]"

    No idea if this is good, neutral or bad. Doesn't sound bad at least.

    Ping @EUCommission : The #EUObserver forgot to give the actual open letter - summary [1] + pdf [2] (thanks @edri ). A former #MetaLobbyist is *not* acceptable as the head of any national-level EU #DataProtectionCommission , and Ireland is especially important because of the headquarters of many #GAFAM s that have consistently violated EU citizens' and residents' privacy for many years.
