Establishing consistency in the #EngagedConnection number could be analogous to a credit score, giving people a clue that the reported benefit is substantial and credible, substituting for an invasive audit of the formula.

A formula might include #happiness factors like Pleasure, Pride, and Purpose, but like any study in #positivePsychology or health, it could get really detailed. So a high-level model like the Three Ps might be more useful as a way to expose three Engaged Connection numbers.

Deviation is, conceptually, a solid metric, where minimization of the #engagedConnection number tracks the health and happiness of the economic agent. One could compose a formula for one's own Engaged Connection by setting targets for all the factors you personally value, and averaging deviation from those targets, but I think the exact formula must necessarily be a personal choice, so long as it behaves consistently.

Accounting #engagedConnection would involve totally different bookkeeping, but it could be accounted.
This has always been my goal with the #semanticCurrency model, as classical #economics does: to provide a numerical model that can be utilized by individuals, groups, governments, and analysts where scarcity is less interesting than #happiness.
A thrivable future cannot be unlocked at any GDP.

#EngagedConnection is a self-describing #economics model that complements #scarcity-based economics with abundance-based balance.

Beginning with connectedness, we can say something someone does in the context of our relationship brings us joy.
