Dramatic Mountains after the rain (part 1)

After the heavy rain of yesterday (and a little bit of snow), today I rushed on top of Corvatsch (3300mt) and enjoyed the clouds covering up mountains in such a dramatic way 😍🤩📸. I used my Panasonic Lumix S1RII and the Sigma 150-600mm. Enjoy the drama show (and if you want, listen to the music: "The Call" ost Everest, by Dario Marianelli).

This river is a glacier river (Morteratsch Glacier). It is sooo powerful that I had a great time taking photos of the water 😍📸🤩. Then, as I was next to the restaurant, I went to have a great hamburger 😋😋🍔 (definitely not, fast food quality 😋😍).

Fifth heatwave in Lugano, this past week, with the highest heat level for the Swiss weather scale... nightmare 🙈🙈🥵😅😅. I have to say that after two months of heatwave series, I am starting to not be soo happy to see the sun 😆😆😆🙈🙈🙈.

Fleeing to Engadin from Lugano and its highest heatwave level (4/4)... (part 1)

So, yesterday I left Lugano with and overwhelming heatwave and head back to Engadin... today it rained 😍😍😍😍 and I am super super happy. Here there were 16°C compared to the 36,5°C super humid of Lugano 🥵😅.

Canton of Ticino - Lugano: Heatwave nr. 4... not sure we needed it 😆😆😆

So, yesterday I left Lugano (36.5 °C) with its 4th Heatwave, and in this round Basel City and Ticino are the hottest of Switzerland... as if we missed it! 🙈😆.

Back to Engadin, today my brain was functioning at the 80%, but I had a good day 😎😎 and a laugh with the lady of the local bakery 😊🪷💐.

So, here are some nicely dramatic shots, which I enjoy watching... the Sky's moods 🤭🤭🤭🤭.

I want to improve these shots, with at some point some even worse weather (even from an indoor location 🤭🤭🤭, and possibly in front of a hot chocolate and biscuits 😋... just as an idea 🤭🤭🤭).

Dramatic bad weather in B&W (part 1)

Today I chased the bad weather and turned it more dramatic than what it actually "did"... it seemed it would have super rained, but it sprinkled a bit (except from the Samedan - Zuoz area, as there it really rained 🤩📸).

I had fun, and enjoyed the chill weather (as Thursday I escaped the - momentarily - last heatwave with Lugano at 34°C 🥵 ).

With my zoom lens (Sigma 150-600mm) I took shots of the rocks... mountains are truly dramatic, and especially when there are clouds above, letting some light through and leaving the rest in the shadow... but soooo intense to look at those rocks ... check these out! 🤩📸😍

As glaciers are melting in the Alps (and not only), today I went up (with cable car) to the Diavolezza to photograph the remaining of the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers. It is said to look at them and know that one day they will disappear. Have here the wide-angle shots.

Sunday walk around the Champfère Lake (part 1)

Heatwave Nr.3 in Southern Switzerland ... and of course, I had to come back: 30°C at 21:00 🙈🥵😆. I was sooo happy in the Mountains 😅😅🤭🤭. Nevermind! The heatwave over Europe is so, so unbearable 🥵😅. So, I took a day off tomorrow and today after work I headed straight to the mountains (Engadin 😍). On my way down the Julierpass I saw an amazing game of light and bad dark weather (more dramatic than anything 🤭), and I had to stop for a few shots...
