I don't even know when I've last updated my archlinux rig and my vm's of various distros, but the snowflake proxy's almost donated a terabyte of bandwidth for 9 days now so yeah

Not an ad for XTAR, but did y'all know some rechargeable batteries now have USB-C ports?!?! My brother definitely found it weird, lol

It's pricier than a regular eneloop though

Ich hab öfter das Problem, dass mit AA/AAA NiMH Akkus (zB #Eneloop) die Batteriewarnung von Sensoren/Aktoren nicht funktioniert weil diese eine andere Entladekurve haben als eine Alkaline Batterie.
Hab mir jetzt mal so Li-ion AA Akkus mit eingebauten Spannungswandlern geholt. Die halten die 1.5V und schalten erst am Ende ihrer Kapazität auf 1.2V um. Damit sollte die Batteriewarnung klappen, bin gespannt. #XTAR

Any body else having trouble with #eneloop in clocks and or #thermostats or other #electronics where the voltage isn't sufficient to power the device? I just had a #honeywell thermostat declare low battery with the two cells at 1.26 Volts. I put fresh (1.30 Volt) cells in place, and it still said low battery, so I couldn't get my heat to go back on. I just 'fixed' it temporarily:
