Eliel Saarinen, family, friends & trusted craftsfolk built the college in a cooperative venture. In a talk hosted by the NY Finnish consulate in the AIA, I learned how Eliel adopted a user-problem solving approach to architecture. There is no defining visual, form (School) characteristics of people inspired by the Saarinens.
