Tweeted this, but it didn't go anywhere it seems: @Downes @lauraritchie @dogtrax Stephen, thanks for today's session on #el30, a great reminder that we must be intentional to reach out to, bring in, support those who need it most, those without agency, opportunity and voice. I feel an affinity to this spirit with what Young Writers Project has done at https://youngwritersproject.org ... the teens mostly those who feel isolated, unliked, outside. Not surprisingly, they develop strong voice.

I was reminded of a graphic novel one of my students gave me as a (her) graduation present. She said it reminded her of me (she was in my epic first California class where the students & I went to America as an extra-curricular outreach project) and that was so nice. @Downes random thought while walking by the sea - I do have a practical suggestion for #el30, that I didn't put in the feedback form - It would help participants (esp those who aren't necessarily 'on time') if the resources and topics were somehow linked by an index.

An example- when I was behind last week, I had to find the topic, which has no date on it, and cross reference the newsletter, as that has more resources and updated tasks that aren't on the topic page.
