  1. A post on Agency and Perspective - my final post on @Downes #el30 (I finally caught up!) In this I unpick some of what Stephen says, and what his two guests Sylvia and Jutta discuss as part of the topic of agency.

My post is one small piece of the puzzle. wp.me/p4Ng5z-1e8 #blogpost #education

  2. Create, share, and learn #el30 with Amy Burvall wp.me/p4Ng5z-1e2

I'm catching up! This is my post from week 9 commenting on the video with @amyburvall (which was aired on 16 December)

  3. Tweeted this, but it didn't go anywhere it seems: @Downes @lauraritchie @dogtrax Stephen, thanks for today's session on #el30, a great reminder that we must be intentional to reach out to, bring in, support those who need it most, those without agency, opportunity and voice. I feel an affinity to this spirit with what Young Writers Project has done at youngwritersproject.org ... the teens mostly those who feel isolated, unliked, outside. Not surprisingly, they develop strong voice.

  4. Creativity at both ends? My #el30 experience

This is a short post as response to @Downes task to 'make a representation of our experience' for the course he's running at the moment. wp.me/p4Ng5z-1dI

  5. I was reminded of a graphic novel one of my students gave me as a (her) graduation present. She said it reminded her of me (she was in my epic first California class where the students & I went to America as an extra-curricular outreach project) and that was so nice. It's called brick by brick and you can read it online here: doodlealley.com/2011/10/19/bri (scroll down past 'store' and the full table of contents are there- you can click each section.

Especially relevant to #el30 this week.

  6. Thinking about experience, content, knowledge, and reflection:

It's a post written in response to @Downes intro about the topic of 'experience' (linked in post)

  8. A community of consensus: Reflecting on participating in @Downes #el30 connected course so far.

This post is part of a task designed to demonstrate both consensus and being part of a community.

  11. @Downes random thought while walking by the sea - I do have a practical suggestion for #el30, that I didn't put in the feedback form - It would help participants (esp those who aren't necessarily 'on time') if the resources and topics were somehow linked by an index.

An example- when I was behind last week, I had to find the topic, which has no date on it, and cross reference the newsletter, as that has more resources and updated tasks that aren't on the topic page.

  12. I made a badge for #el30

This week is all about recognition and I have finally done my homework. I made a super-sweet badge and you can earn my Connected Learner badge by reading and commenting on other people's blog posts. wp.me/p4Ng5z-1cn

ps I also explain my bumblings with the technical side of things and that might either comfort or amuse you - depending if you are tech or non-tech. :)
