This trial is part of the European Defence Fund Hidden Threat Detection Challenge and allowed our team to test multi-robot systems combining aerial & ground platforms, fused multiple sensing modalities (GPR, EMI, LiDAR, EO/IR, ..), and refine our AI / mission planning pipelines.

In September 2024, the first evaluation campaign for the #EDF_CONVOY project took place at FOI facilities in Sweden.
Four consortia participated in this Challenge to build the best possible robotic solution for hidden threat detection.
This campaign was a great first opportunity to challenge our #robot #demining solution.
We performed well despite the limited preparation time. The data collected will enhance future system refinements and optimizations.
