My old laptop's replacement battery has attempted a self-ignition. I think it's time to start saving up for a new laptop. I'd love to have a #Framework 16. I just don't know if I can stand having a CPU with "AI" in it's name. A real mobile workstation would be sweet though. My current laptop can't play 4K video smoothly, lol.

*sigh* A new (2025-12) laptop in the household keeps freezing, despite RMA to fix it a few weeks ago.

I suspect it's misconfigured hardware architecture, or faulty hardware.

Not acceptable, because it happens frequently and takes about an hour of attended recovery each time, all while wondering if it will recover.

The earlier RMA took a month from reporting to getting it back.

I can't afford to replace it with similar now, even if we get a refund.
