Just deleted #tiktok and its been a long time coming honestly. Ever since last year after the takeover everything's slowly been changing on there. Used to be I'd get updates on breaking news events, witness activist and learn about protests, ongoing political topics but anymore everything is so shadow banned and repressed.
But the final straw was recently I've been looking into out of body experiences and astral projection in a version of Firefox for android made for privacy. Essentially librewolf but for android and everything in android is supposed to be "sandboxed" 😆 then you begin to see tiktoks about astral projection and oh I forgot - sunglasses too I needed a new pair of shades so I bought me some raybans. Next thing you know youtube and tiktok be trying to sell me sunglasses every other add.
#grapheneos here I come. Being able to use 3rd party #opensource apps like #newpipe and #echomusic will be going away come September. #digitalprivacy is going to be something of a myth unless we all start fighting back. Idk what I'm getting at but anyways fuck this shit
