I'm intrigued by what used to be referred to as the #easternblock. There are several reasons for this, one being my wife originating from this region, the other being me repeatedly driving donated cars to #kyiv without really knowing a lot about the region.
In a couple of weeks I'm leading another convoys of cars to Kyiv, but this weekend om chilling on #Chisinau in #Moldova. Fun and games before the storm.

@kcarruthers oh jeez like in the old #EasternBlock o_0 where the border ramps, allegedly built to keep intruders' tanks out, were placed the other way round so they inherently kept people 'in', from getting out and from crossing the borders 'illegally' when citizens wanted to leave... many good people died trying to cross that 'death strip' in search for personal freedom 🪦
