Het Nederlands Forensisch Instituut (NFI) gaat nog onbekende DNA-sporen uit de zaak-Dutroux vergelijken met de zaak van de sinds 1993 vermiste Tanja Groen.

In de Belgische plaats Sars-la-Buissière in de Waalse provincie Henegouwen is begonnen met de sloop van de woning van seriemoordenaar en kinderverkrachter Marc Dutroux. Dat gebeurt ruim 26 jaar na de ontdekking van de lichamen van twee van zijn slachtoffers, Julie en Mélissa, in de tuin.
