Ended up backtracking a bit on recursion in #Draupnir. Two colleagues independently made a suggestion that elegantly gets rid of an awkward abstraction, while playing very nicely into our dataflow execution model: instead of making higher order primitives to support recursion, edges in the dataflow graph now identify which operator iterations talk to each other. It feels a bit like there's something similar to the parallel communication algebra that the #Dryad folks came up with... but for recursion.

I was a bit confused if I should tag this as having artistic nudity, since if you're made of bark and wood and don't have "bits" does it really count as nudity? But I guess I'll mark it just in case...

Several days ago I saw a post mentioning #Chikorita at was kind of surprise, like I didn't hear this name for about 20 years...
When I was in elementary school I collected #Pokemon cards and this one was one of my favourites, together with Omanyte. Easier, innocent times...So in that post was something about girl vibes, it made me think about #drawing Chikorita as kind of #dryad or something...
