My old home in Dorn Ridge, NB is marked in yellow. I lived out in a huge forest in the Appalachians. My home was burnt down by arsonists years ago.
Way out in the hayfields on the top right was where Pablo Escobar's drug cartel would fly over to drop off huge cocaine packages. These were distributed across the eastern seaboard. In the late 80s, I was riding my horse once in a deep valley somewhere on the top left when I saw the drug plane flying in with sputtering engines. Then the engines went quiet and the plane was headed right toward the top of the hill. I didn't know they were cartel people at the time. I was afraid the plane was about to crash, so I galloped up the hill to go find the crash site. Luckily for me, they must've gotten their engines going again. That being said, they eventually did have a crash landing in nearby Burtt's Corner, and that ended up being Canada's largest drug bust.
