#SCOTUS declines to hear case of human rights lawyer Steven #Donziger, who was challenging fed court’s appointment of 3 private attorneys as special prosecutors after US Atty’s Office declined to pursue criminal contempt charges against him.

Charges against Donziger arose from multibillion-$ lawsuit against Chevron in Ecuador; Donziger was eventually convicted, sentenced to 6 mos in prison. Justice Neil Gorsuch dissented from denial of review, joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
