@electret great, it get's never boring in the #HomeLab right :) I used to have a simple list with things I plan to do in #docmost but nowadays started to use Issues in #forgejo. So #forgejo is now really the single source of truth in the homelab with all the glory #git delivers.

#Docmost kannte ich noch nicht. Wenn ich das richtig sehe, ist das ähnlich wie #Dokuwiki u.a. #Wiki eine reine #Webanwendung. Das ist super, wenn mehrere Leute auf die Inhalte zugreifen müssen. Für rein persönliche Dokumentationen ist mir eine lokale Lösung (ggf. mit Synchronisationsmöglichkeit zwischen verschiedenen Geräten) lieber. Die funktioniert auch, wenn ich offline bin oder der Server crasht.

Ich dokumentiere (für mich) inzwischen alles mit #Joplin. Sicher gibt es dafür bessere / geeignetere Lösungen wie eben Wikis, aber bei mir geht es hauptsächlich z.B. darum, z.B. die Installation, Anpassungen, Änderungen und Updates an einem Systems wie einem Server für mich selbst zu dokumentieren. Das mache ich in einer einzelnen Joplin Notiz.

@blog @kaschmir Ich muss zugeben, dass ich nicht genau weiß, was Confluence alles kann. Ich nutze Docmost echt viel inzwischen. Es beschreibt sich eher so: "Wiki, aber in schön und Multiuser-fähig". #Docmost #Joplin #NextCloud #did

Looking for FOSS alternatives to Notion, preferably with much of the same functionality and preferably with the option to self-host and optionally integrate with Git. I know y'all can help me out with this! Docmost looks promising but they have pricing, which makes me wary.

Para los que tengáis #docmost en en vuestro homelab, no os recomiendo por el momento, actualizar a la nueva versión 0.24.0 ya que hay gente, entre la que me incluyo, que tras instalarlo no arranca.

El error que muestra es el siguiente:

Si lo habéis actualizado y os muestra ese error, lo más rápido es volver a cargar la imagen de la versión 0.23.2 en vuestro docker:

Das klingt ernsthaft gut und würde einige Usability-Probleme des Mediawikis lösen. Unter anderem durch Markdown als Standard und Drag & Drop-Seitenhierarchie.

Realtime-Collaborative-Editing, schicke Kommentare und draw.io-Integration sind auch nicht zu verachten.

Scheint mir noch netter (ausgewogener) als Bookstack oder xWiki. Fehlt nur eine Import-/Migrationsfunktion.

Docmost je docela zajímavý projekt. Už ho mám dva týdny a datluji v něm domáci KB. A hodně mi to připomíná confluence. Jen tohle je Open Source. V dockeru ho jde provozovat i na Synology NAS. #docmost #selfhosted

I'm very curious about what my Synology was doing here. In an effort to self-host all the things, I'm testing different Wiki containers, especially since I like to write stuff in markdown.

While deploying a Docker service for docmost, which comes with a couple other containers, my CPU usage apparently went negative?

Explain yourself, Synology DSM / Container Manager, since I got nothing.

Are there any public red flags for #Docmost?
Had a quick scan of #MediaWiki alternatives (like SiYuan, Trilium) for self-hosted knowledge-base and stuff.
And this looks to be pretty polished - even as a beta.
And supports a proper multi-user mode, which the above alternatives don't.

I've never really found the perfect knowledge management solution. vim-orgmode did me well for a long time, but I started sprinkling in diagrams at some point and found perfection with Obsidian and Syncthing, but corporate IT necessitates I have a web interface.

I'm tentatively trying #Affine at the moment. #FOSS, #selfhosted, and does everything I want, but a little bit janky — but it seems excellent.

I'm possibly going to try #DocMost too.

One of the easiest open wiki system and confluence alternative to write documentation. It has important features like search, import/export, markdown based, pdf and web friendly, spaces and users adminstration.

It can be self-hosted to quickly setup it just with a docker-compose.
