The OG upstream team stated: no plans for Linux (or any other platform other than Windows) ❌
Message from the DMJC -project lead however:
"I will flesh out a Linux native port of Wing Commander 3 in the next few days/weeks and will then extend it to have Force Feedback joystick support and Virtual Reality support.
None of these things was going to be done by the other team of people. I'm giving full credit in my project to the people that reverse engineered the original games and made the formats possible to be read."
