After tooting just now at @girlonthenet about the limited history of audio porn, I was reminded of a tangentially-related subject: the so-called "dirty blues" songs that were part of the Rythm & Blues sound in the earlier half of the 20th century. Erotic songs are of course as old (probably) as music itself, but R&B's dirty blues were underground enough to remain little-known today:
