We also have a hosted account on a #peertube server at @swordandfiddle
I made a radio interview my wife did about her writing into a short 3-ep podcast using #dir2cast and although we self-host that, it's available through most aggregators (not Spotify or Audible): https://podcastindex.org/podcast/7456719

I accept your free use of substack is convenient, but it does contribute to them being trumpeted as the only game in town.

Creating FOSS platforms for your examples is not necessary - they're already here and just need support. @peertube and #hyper8 for different video use-cases for example.
@Castopod or even just #dir2cast for podcast hosting - it's only RSS.
SO MANY writing tools, it's not funny.

Как превращать Youtube каналы в подкасты, при этом не привлекая внимания санитаров.

Вкратце - управление подписками идет через #Pinchflat, который через wireguard выкачивает каналы в аудио и раскладывает их по каталогам. Исходя из структуры каталогов при помощи #dir2cast формируется rss фид, который и скармливает приложение.

Схема избыточна - пытаюсь ради синхронизации между устройствами перелезть с Podcast Republic на Audiobookshelf, но пока никак не могу подружиться с интерфейсом.
