~~~ Virtual Light Table (VLT) ~~~
During my PhD, I have also developed a little software called the "Virtual Light Table" which allows users to upload images of (two-sided) objects, bring them to scale, move them arround and thus create reconstructions of fragmentary objects, e.g. papyrus documents.
I have published a first version in 2023. Check it out at https://stephan-m-unter.github.io/Virtual-Light-Table/index.html.
Even if you don't have papyri to play with, there is a neat little 3D animation telling you about the features, which I am very proud of. No AI, just me playing with Cinema4D. :)
I especially like that there are several buttons still grayed out, telling us that all important stuff, i.e. features, documentation, and technical details, are all "coming soon". It was in a hurry for the conference I wanted to present the software at, and ever since I was quite busy with other stuff. The project is not dead, though, I have several ideas for extensions. :)
