@codepo8 I remember the „Hier kommt Rolf” TV spots and the Postleitzahlenbuch. I wonder if a similar transition is taking place in #India with their #DIGIPIN initiative https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Level_Addressing_Grid . They probably have some really cool marketing campaigns going on, too.

Some exciting Indian 🇮🇳 addressing news - recently India Post has announced the launch of DIGIPIN - 10-digit alphanumeric codes (12 characters when the two dashes are included) corresponding to 4mx4m squares.
We have added DIGIPIN as a new annotation in our geocoding results and also support searching for DIGIPINs
