I like open source, but recent political events have made it painfully clear, much of the open source community has been consolidated within the United States of America.
There was a time that was not a problem, but perhaps more projective, developments, and organizations should have been wary of converging in a single point in the world. And today, you should use the same caution with dealing with the United States, as you would with Russia or China.

Interesting housing development proposal in Squamish. A development variance permit is being requested to construct 2 buildings with 16 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms and 2 living rooms in each building. Looks like the number of parking spots is less than 1 per bedroom. #develpment #housing #HousingCrisis

"Assessing the costs associated with using a specific tool is usually more straightforward than evaluating the less tangible costs related to an application's life-cycle, such as those tied to quality."

Finding a bug makes you sad and happy. Sad you wasted all those hours trying to fix something unrelated, happy you can move on.
In my case I thought my neural net was not learning because of training data or code. IT wouldn't even overfit. But it was a mistake in displaying how correct it was.. so it was learning thing after all.
Mostly happy, because I thought I was stuck :)
