The third annual Bunker Party has started about half an hour ago, and it's our first visit there. (@Juno Rowland is with me again.) The musical motto, as usual, is that the unusual is usual. It's happening inside LyAvain Swansong's private bunker in Dereos. Maybe you know Ly from Star Citizen. And right now she is playing music from Star Citizen. This is probably the most harmless part of the evening.

We'll have three more DJs tonight, including @Akira and Xenos Yifu who are known for taking notes at each other's DJ sets.

The sim is not listed on OSW as it's a private residential sim, so there won't be any visitors who have just teleported where an OSW beacon told them that there are a few more avatars. Everyone who'll come here tonight will know what's going on.

Still, if there was a random visitor, they'd first have to find their way to the entrance to the bunker, then they'd have to get into the bunker, and then they'd have to find their way through the bunker. By the way, all signs are in German. Every other OpenSim avatar can only find parties that happen right in front of or around them anyway.

I guess my multi-tasking abilities will be put to the test tomorrow evening.

For one, there's the second German Hubzilla workshop. This time, I even have to present something myself. Half an hour earlier, Dereos will use its last-Wednesday-of-the-month event to inaugurate a new event sim. I could manage to juggle these two. @Juno Rowland is fairly likely to go; not sure about myself. At least I can simply leave it running.

But then there's also the @HG Safari which is on Wednesdays, too, and which will start half an hour after the Hubzilla workshop. I haven't been there in a while. HG Safaris always require full attention because there's constantly something happening, and you have to walk around the location yourself.

Today's three-hour DJ event in Dereos takes place on a brand-new sim that's inspired by the ZDF-Hitparade. I mean, they already have a sim inspired by the Beat-Club.

However: The music of the first half matches the location. In other words, Schlager. Probably mostly from the 1970s. The first DJ has opened with four Chris Roberts songs.

What really gives me to think is that even @Akira Sonoda has announced "Schlager" for the second half. Whatever that means in her case.

Right now, the @HG Safari is visiting us at Atlas in Dorenas World. About two dozen avatars on a packed standard region of 256x256m. In fact, some have crossed into neighbouring sims, probably without even noticing. It doesn't help that it's night during the whole hour of their visit.

Right afterwards, we're off to the on-going weekly party over on Dereos.

In fact, today is the official 15th anniversary of Dorenas World. It's the only German grid that has ever managed to live for this long, and it's the third-oldest surviving OpenSim grid now. Only OSgrid, the first public grid from 2007, and AnSky Grid are older.

The anniversary will be celebrated from tomorrow on until Sunday. I'll post the schedule later. Just so much: We've finally managed to get @Rogue Galaxy to perform here.

And next week, on January 25th, Dereos will celebrate its 10th anniversary on a sim built for the occasion..
