Ahmad, pictured in the first image, provides for two sisters, Ola & Areej. Areej has severe dental issues and has lived in pain for a long time. Eating was torture for her. Ahmad has recently undertaken to procure care for Areej, even though he doesn't have the funding for it. Already, she has had to miss treatments due to lack of payment.

@HI_Greens Indeed - that wouldn't surprise me at all! I can very well imagine the existence of #Neanderthals with that sort of #knowledge. If there were #Neanderthal #dentists, why not Neanderthal #doctors & #pharmacists? They probably didn't divide up the roles like we do.

So many dentists now only take on private patients, with current NHS patients often having to travel hundreds of miles to get treatment on the NHS, if they can get it at all, yet we read millions of pounds are unspent.
Is this in a bid to privitise the entire service that only the rich can afford?

My son has been having some issues with one of his remaining wisdom teeth. Clearly, insufficient wisdom has been extracted to date.
Anyhow, he came back from the dentist this morning with his mouth very numb from the anaesthetic - and was immediately challenged to say “antithesis”.
The results were hilarious…

The continuing crisis in UK dental care is partly driven by an NHS contract that does little to incentivise dentists to continue NHS work, but is also due to a shortage of dentists.
So, the chaos in examination of foreign trained dentists (currently there are around 8,000 trying to take the exam), which has no clear waiting list & involves continually trying to apply for exam slots that appear in the online booking system, is really not helping at all!
