  1. Never give up on what you love doing, even if you hit a little speedbump.

Decky Loader team denied the plugin submission: github.com/SteamDeckHomebrew/d. If you enjoy the plugin, it would help to add your feedback on their Discord: discord.com/invite/U88fbeHyzt.

I just made a Library to allow arbitrary file storage using Steam as the backend. Requires space to be available in the save data of your games.

I can see a lot of potential uses for this, from storing other game's save data, mods, and even things like assets to be applied to steam itself for when you re-install Steam, just need a tool that knows how to retrieve and apply the files.

Would love to see this integrated with #Decky

    So... Wrote a #blog post about using #Steam as #Cloud #storage
I think it has potential to be a great addition to #Decky to store your #Emulator saves inside of Steam

  12. Why every time I have a issue with Steam Deck it end up with Decky’s fault :adachi_bruh:

this time is boot up to a black screen and I am unable to interact with anything

end up discovered Decky is in a state that crashed so hard that if I don’t interact with Steam Deck via touch
exactly once and using controller to switch to desktop within 5 seconds it will freeze the system

  17. Installed Decky Framegen on my Lenovo Legion Go. Cyberpunk certainly seems like it looks a bit prettier at a better FPS.

  22. I want a #SteamDeck #Decky plugin that plays music on the game screen, as well as when you're hovering over the games icon when it's installed on the deck.

Instead of playing it from YouTube every time though, it downloads the music from YouTube, so it works offline and with low latency.

Anyone want to help me with this project?

  27. Trainers + #SteamDeck radial menu options = absolutely amazing. Also the CheatDeck #Decky plugin has definitely simplified it from the old Steam Tinker Launcher method

    My suggestion is:
    * Map a back button to "Numlock"
    * Set up your radial menu with the things you want

This helps avoid accidental toggling, since you have to hit the rear button to toggle numlock before the radial menu options will work. Then you hit the button again to disable numlock and can hit the radial menu willy-nilly

  32. Hah! This one seems buggy on my end. Not optimized for a "faked" Switch Pro controller? Or something's wrong with my #8BitDo Pro 2?

So the battery % is always shown as 75. It notifies when that hits 5%, and somehow, the controller goes haywire.

The weird thing is that I just fully charged it.

Switching back to Xbox mode after the notify popped up and the controller is working fine again.

Alright, uninstalled. Don't need this #Decky plugin. Or buy a real Xbox/Switch Pro controller.

  34. Nice, why haven't I thought of this before!

#Decky > #ControllerTools works on an #8BitDo Pro 2 on Switch mode. But flakes out when using Xbox mode.

While #WineCellar stopped working after the 3.5.17 #SteamDeck update. Oh, well...
