    Hanukkah continues, the festival of oily things. Candles and lamps burning from remarkably little fuel, jam doughnuts, fried shredded potatoes.

    The celebration is marked by singing and dancing, and with Debbie Friedman's song. Debbie was a leader in post-war Jewish worship music, folk-inspired singing to make prayer relevant.
