Which drama had you running for your blankies?
There are several good suspense shows that were released in 2025, including #NinePuzzles and #DearX. Several folks recently mentioned a drama from 2020 starring my beloved #JangHyuk and the FL from last year's #IdolI #TellMeWhatYouSaw. It's immediately captured my attention, with 4 episodes consumed today. I'm not a fan of serial killers, but if they must be shown, I can't tolerate them in a romcom, which this doesn't pretend to be. Very interesting role for Jang Hyuk. I think the mystery will keep me intrigued, but one guy they've cast has never played anything but a villain in the many dramas I've seen him in, so I certainly have my suspicions!

I’m halfway through #dearx and whew. The acting, the cinematography, everything is wonderful. A lot of us wanted a S2 of #theglory and while this isn’t it the dynamic between the leads reminds me of the “heroine” and “hero” of that drama. That’s where the semblance ends. I hate spoilers so I’ll leave it at that. #kdrama

Yes, I was also excited about this, but Doh Kyung Soo's role was so over-the-top evil and violent that I stopped watching about 10 minutes into his later appearance. I don't expect to return. #DearX was an exceedingly interesting dive into human evil, while personalizing all of the characters. #KimYouJung did amazing things with an intensely challenging role, and I stayed curious about what would happen next. -

I always recommend #Misty to anyone who likes mystery thrillers, or anyone who wants to watch #kdrama with a partner who's not so fond of romance. I thought that it crackled with tension, throughout. Also, #FlowerOfEvil is a popular one. Currently, #DearX is very dark and twisty.

I haven't watched it, but others in the #kdrama world say that Doctors, recently added to Netflix, is a good, older drama.
I'm also watching multiple #CurrentlyAiring shows, including #TyphoonFamily, #DearX, #DynamiteKiss, #TheDreamLifeOfMisterKim, and #LastSummer.In between all of that, I'm watching the beginnings of the Joseon dynasty in #SixFlyingDragons.
Somebody's gotta do it. If you like thrillers, Dear X is quite captivating. Very dark and twisty. -
