OK it's all a bit cliché, James Bond locations, good actors but all a bit unconvincing.

And don't get me started on the least realistic rendering of Gare du Nord any Parisian has ever seen.

Giving the #dayofthejackal a shot. Second big scene, Jackal shoots bullets the size of a small soy sauce bottle with a sniper rifle at the walls of a hospital while people are inside, and protestors, police and even other snipers are outside and _no one_ clocks anything.

I'm pretty sure those thing make a massive noiaw when they hit concrete.

We finished watching The Day of the Jackal last night and really enjoyed it. Very thrilling and a great storyline. One of the few times you want the bad guy to win. Eddie Redmayne is a star, but I thought Lashana Lynch as Bianca Pullman was also top-notch. And it had a large Hungarian crew and some locations too, which made it even better for us. Loved the last drone shot of our beloved Budapest. Highly recommended.

Dang. I just binged all 6 episodes of Day of the Jackal in 2 days thinking it's only 6 episodes long. And at the end of EP 6 I saw "new episodes every Thursday" and learned that it's 10 episodes! 😭

But I don't mind another 4 episodes of Eddie Redmayne's wonderful psychopath.

Three episodes into #DayoftheJackal and will watch more today. It’s well done, but I am a fan of these spy things. Even if I have a sense of where it’s going, the style makes it enjoyable to watch how they’ll get there.
