I love it when something lands right smack dab in the intersection of one or more of my personal interests. I spotted this in the amazing book, "David Grove: An Illustrated Life".
This painting is for a 1984 Learjet annual report. And I'm 99% sure that the laptop being used here is the GRiD Compass, an absolutely fascinating early laptop computer that shows up in *all sorts* of stuff.

I learned about the artist David Grove through artist Cliff Spohn via the book "Art of Atari". You've probably seen some of Grove's art already, or at least art inspired by his style.
He has a book, "David Grove: an Illustrated Life".
At first, I thought this book was impossible to get. But it turns out that you can buy it directly from the publisher, Norfolk Press, on their website. It came in the mail right away. What a treasure trove this is! #DavidGrove #illustration
