  1. Right now I'm suffering with my phone's data plan on Google Fi because somehow I burned through like 15 gigs of data in a day and hit a limit where they stop charging me for data but they throttle my connection.

The culprit appears to be Firefox, and I think what happened is there was a pop-up asking me to try Mozilla VPN (which I now know is a bad idea because it's rebranded Mullvad), I said sure, and it must have downloaded a lot of VPN stuff.

  6. i'm gonna do a little experiment today. I will leave my phone off Wi-Fi for the whole day to see how much data i use.
I have a Unlimited plan since the beginning of this year, and i get 20GB/Day of which i can fill up again with 2GB at the time via their app. (I have Vodafone)

But when i'm at home, i'm on Wi-Fi anyways, so that does not count my dataplan so a lot goes actually to "waste".

Maybe i'm going to do this the whole week, maybe only today. I'm curious on how many data i actually use with it.

I even found a app that measures your data, and its FOSS. Awesome!

I will report back once i have the data.
