Newfoundland Hydro asking for power conservation this morning.
Due to wobbly issues with the old Holyrood plant, and ice ingestion at Bay D'espoir hydro essentially idling all 7 units, Nfld is really short on generation, with NS exports essentially halted.

@taco the links (one to N.Scotia also) should greatly improve stability for the kind of failure we saw last week (baseload). Our distribution ain't too bad since #darknl, a lot of ongoing improvements. Watt for watt, prob the better of Ontario these days.
If the Lab link worked, we would have a lot of capacity for heating (and EVs). Muskrat is just the preamble though, part of why it is half a wreck. Gull Island is the goal and the LIL not working oddly benefits that, for now.
