New voter registration (inscribición) has seen widespread obstacles including new voters waiting for over 10 hours to register to vote. Younger voters make the base for the progressive Alliancia Pais (PIP + VC parties). The ones in charge of inscribición is the PNP, the Trump supporting party that typically counts on older voters who are already registered.

LUMA is the privatized (US owned) energy company that took over PR’s energy after Maria. Since then our energy prices have nearly doubled while energy failures have wrecked havoc on the island due to LUMA’s incompetency. The current PNP administration enables these grifters while the progressive candidate, #Dalmau hopes to get rid of them.
