Jedenfalls sage ich dauernd "geplanter Veröffentlichungstermin Winter 2066 ist nicht gefährdet" wann immer irgendwas ohne absehbaren Zeitrahmen passiert und niemand versteht mich und I'm fun at parties.

The same Wikipedia page that does show one of the claims for 7th April 2000 also later states the N64 version was not released until November.
And then there's this gem from the Daikatana Wiki that makes no sense at all.
Was it perhaps released on April 7th 2001 in Japan, and all the sites that claim 2000 copy-pasted the same typo?

Researching the release dates of popular video games from the 90s and early 2000s, I have come across this particularly strange and implausibly sounding discovery:
Most sources claim that Daikatana was released for PC in North America on 23th May 2000 (give or take a day), and for N64 a few days later.
But there are also claims that the N64 version released in Japan already on 7th April. That's seven weeks earlier.Can this be true?

#TV died. Screen went off and all that was left were 4 lousy red lights. It went on a high note as we watched a YouTube video about #Daikatana 64.
At least we paid for a 5-year warranty in 2020! Good job, past selves. Nicely done.
(our previous #Bravia died so we learned our lesson)
A tech will be here on Monday (!) but I fear this is terminal.

3: Two for one.
I actually like #Daikatana and think it's a decent game for what it is, but it got overshadowed by #HalfLife, and also by #JohnRomero's questionable marketing and business management.
#SolarJetman is an amazing #NES game that is generally liked, but I consider it underrated because few people have heard of it.
