Just seen the two oddest tattoos I’ve ever seen. Mountain biker had John Le Mesurier on his left calf and Arthur Lowe on his right calf. Both in costume as their respective characters from Dad’s Army. Really photorealistic tats as well, covering the full calf.

Well, this ages me. Ian Lavender, who played Pike in the English tv series, Dad's Army, has died at the age of 77. He was the last remaining member of the original cast, so now they are all gone. I loved that show growing up!

Sad to hear of the passing of the last surviving main cast member of British comedy, Dad's Army;Ian Lavender who played Pike. . I didn't appreciate that show when very young but as I got older and caught the near endless repeats I got to appreciate how well defined the characters were, how well written it was and how well acted. "Don''t tell him Pike" is so ingrained in the Brit psyche. Up there with Morecambe & Wise with Andre Previn. #UK #DadsArmy #IanLavender
