Back to school checklist:
+ minimal stationery purchased (came to a grand total of $37, and we were in and out of Officeworks in 10 minutes)
+ uniforms clean and ready – and they still fit
+ freezer packs in the freezer
+ fruit ready for lunch boxes
+ Anzac biscuits baked
+ homemade sausage rolls in the oven (for tea but there will be leftovers for lunch or an easy breakfast)
+ I'm now about ⅓ way through making mushroom risotto and have completely run out of puff and am full of regrets but I'm committed now so I guess I'll stand here adding stock and stirring and cursing my earlier optimism, ho hum
