Many years ago, when I was training more speedcubing, I was once sub-18 with 17.82 Ao100. Today, I finally managed sub-19 again with 18.97 seconds and I'm quite pleased! 😎

the fact that most of the speed cube reviews target people who are already sub 10 is kinda silly imho. that people don't really need a review to pick a cube to buy.

OK, I've now learnt how to solve the FTO (with the help of a YouTube tutorial), and I can say I'm in love with it. 🥰 It's a unique twisty puzzle that'll melt your brain and sanity, but once you understand what's going on with it, it's the best fun to solve.
As fun as the Megaminx? Maybe not quite, but I think it's one of my favourites. My fastest solve time is just over 12 minutes, so I'm still a slowpoke, but hey ho.

Want to challenge a Rubik's Cube solving competitor? Apparently, just remove the centre of the cube and watch the solve times go up.

I'm back up to scratch on my cubing, guys. 🎊 So many algorithms... my poor brain.
I don't think I'll ever be a speed cuber. My fastest 3x3 solve is ~2mins. But twisty puzzles are *really* relaxing to mess around with and solve at your own pace.
I'm back in the game and looking to expand my collection.
I think the Megaminx might still be my favourite. It's fiendish but gorgeous. Fastest solve time ~13mins!
Any of my friends here keen on cubing?

@webhat I think the 4x4 is the perfect "advanced" cube. It has the additional complexities of all the larger cubes (edge grouping, parities), plus the special requirement of the even-numbered cubes (making your centers); its cubies are still big-enough for adult fingers; and it doesn't require setting aside the better part of an afternoon to solve.

1 minute and 20 seconds to solve the listed scramble algorithm!
This is my fastest time ever so far!!!
Not quite #SpeedCubing yet, but I'm quite happy.

I found one on ebay y'all!
This is the same puzzle that appears on Joker's table in the first Batman movie from the 80's.
I have it. And all the stickers intact!
